We had such a great time at the Alain Mikli Trunk Show this past weekend. Stylish men and women from all around the Boston area came to visit us to discover the French designer’s new MATT Collection.
From full acetate and titanium frames to half-rim styles and fabulous Alain Mikli sunglasses, there were plenty of styles to choose from. Mikli’s entire collection is handmade, unique and outfitted with his patented chaam hinge, which uses a buckle-and-hook design that keeps the temples’ screws from loosening.
Those who visited us this weekend got to try out a number of looks in the MATT Collection.
One of the first things you may notice is the appearance of the frames. The outside surface has a more matte texture than the inner surface, which has a polished, silky finish for the ultimate comfort.
You may also notice the interesting patterns of the colored frames. From brown and gold to red and turquoise, each style is uniquely patterned. Colored petals are layered with mother of pearl, which gives Alain Mikli eyeglasses a beautiful depth and captures light at every angle. The designer even puts the luminescent twist on traditional tortoiseshell frames, giving you the opportunity to wear a modern version of a time-honored classic.
Alain Mikli eyewear is always limited edition, as the designer only makes a certain number per style. He crafts every pair by hand, making each frame exclusive and special.
Come on in and check out the chic new MATT Collection today before it’s all gone!
We hope you consider visiting us at Vizio for our next event on October 22, when we’ll be highlighting Linberg’s latest collection. Remember that at each trunk show, we offer $100 off with each prescription purchase, and each customer is entered to win a free pair of frames. Congratulations to this month’s winner, Rebecca S.!
