We’ve seen Lafont making headlines in blogs and magazines around the world lately, but it’s time to recognize another one of our favorite brands for its success in the media lately, too! From Spain to China and back over to Italy, MYKITA eyeglasses and sunglasses have been highlighted in numerous international magazines over the last few months. Here are a couple of our favorite spreads:
From the April issue of Cosmopolitan Spain, MYKITA Aki eyeglasses help the magazine illustrate the prevalence of great Sixties style in today’s fashion world. This frame comes from the Lite collection, which means it is constructed using only three pieces – the front round rim and its two arms! Because MYKITA is such an innovative designer, arms are connected to the front section via a screw-less hinge, made of interlocking segments that allow them to snap right on to the frame.
MYKITA Moon sunglasses appear in Harper’s Bazaar China on a conservative model, jazzing up her sophisticated look with their slim, round lenses. The titanium rims in champagne are thin to let the bold silhouette stand out, colored in with dark brown lenses. The shades complement her bold red lip quite well, don’t you think?
And back in Italy in the April 2013 issue of Cosmopolitan, a stunning blonde model dons a pair of MYKITA Tyson sunglasses. Pairing it with the season’s hot color combo of black and white and classic accessories like a quilted Chanel handbag, Tyson provides a sleek and understated way to round out the outfit.
